Your First Visit

Most of our consulting sessions are scheduled for the afternoon. We will do our best to ensure that you will not be kept waiting and that you will be seen by the doctor at the appointed time. Occasionally, emergencies or other unplanned events disrupt our schedule. If that occurs on the day of your appointment, we will endeavour to contact you and to minimize any disruption to your schedule.

We appreciate that everyone has time constraints and do our best to ensure that you are seen at the time appointed. Allow as much as 45 minutes for your first consultation with Dr Olbourne. He will assess your problem and advise you of his opinion as to the appropriate surgical solution. Dr Olbourne specializes in the provision of detailed information and will carefully go through the techniques of surgery and explain all the benefits and risks of the procedure you seek.

He will use photographs of other patients who have undergone similar surgeries to demonstrate to you the finer points of the operation proposed and a range of outcomes that can be achieved. Only with all the information available will you be able to make an appropriate judgement on which procedure will best achieve your goals in cosmetic surgery.

At the end of your consultation, the office staff will assist you with the selection of the date for your operation and advise you of the cost of the surgery and other services which will be required to achieve the optimal result.
